Keeping projects organized
So what are some things you do to keep your projects organized, whether it'd be specific things or just general tips. One thing I do is I color code everything. For example, I'll color basses green, synths orange, drums red, etc.

Re: How to make this sound
sounds like detuned saw waves (either a reese or a common "techno" bass) going through some phase distortion. at the end of the fx chain, after eqing the dirt out of the sound, have a lp filter controlled by a saw-like automation envelope for the punchy sound. Thanks man, I got something ...

How to make this sound
I have no clue how this sound was made. I can't really make out any specific waveforms or anything. Any ideas?

What should I be focusing on?
So lately I've been working almost exclusively on sound design, and trying to come up with some unique basses and such. But I'm starting to think that maybe I should just focus on making tunes, and perhaps the sound design will eventually follow. What are your thoughts?

How much does resampling affect sound?
For this example I'll use Datsik. He uses resampling to get his basses. My question is, how different is the final bass compared to the bass straight out of the synth, with no effects added? Is resampling used to completely change the sound, or just to make it more powerful?

How to make this sound?
I would like to know how someone would go about making a similar sound to the first bass at the drop. It's sort of...random? Can't really explain it. My guess would be lots of resampling and maybe some pitch modulation, but I'm not sure. Thanks!
