Showcasing my track, but mainly looking for mastering advice, as it is one of my weakest points IMO. I felt like the track was lacking something. Dynamically maybe?
This version has very little limiting, some mulitiband compression, and some small eq tweaks.

Thanks for the feedback. Much appreciated!wub wrote:Weak kick/snare for the drums. Midrange wobble is also quite flat sounding.

I appreciate the feedback. This tune is at 160 bpm. What is a good tempo for drum and bass with a little dubstep thrown in?MrMush wrote:NICE!!! little slow for dnb but the value of sounds are really nice..

Re: Blunderbuss - Trunk - 124bpm garagy bass style.
I love it. I think the vocal samples are a little too loud at time, but other than that its good. The drums are nice and punchy, and the stabby synths are tight. And 2:43 is tits. yes.

Nice track. Very nice groove. Love the bass at 2:11; gritty and a nice melody as well.

I'm an ableton user and I run into similar problems. I pretty much have to consolidate everything down to audio whenever possible, as I work. I avoid super taxing processing until I absolutely need it.

Definitely. Tight track. I'd give $20 at least. I was wanting to hear his rap over it though.

Re: Valentino Bosi - Evol (chill-step)
The beginning gives me a very 80's feel. The overall feel is random to me, which may have been what you were going for. Gets very dark in the middle, as opposed to bright intro. Could use some more variation and transitional sections, but the track is very chill and ambient as expected. Good work ...

Re: Of Fire (Heavier Dubstep)
I like the track. The sound is clean. The snare is my biggest complaint. If you layered two together, either give them less of an off-set and compress as needed, or line them up and split the frequencies to blend them, and compress to your liking. I love the bass sounds and the background percussion ...
