Re: eu41a-Ignite (Melodic Dirty Dubstep)
The melodies are fucking awesome! I listened to it like 5 times in a row. :) The instruments (excluding the dubstep parts) are ok.
I do have something negative to say about it though, constructive criticism if you will:
Overall mixing is bad; Basically kick is boosted way too high and it's peaking ...

Awesome! I have to agree with maccaveli, though, it's a bit muddy.

Re: How to make this pad synth!
Hey guys, im not looking to get exactly the same sound but just the best techniques to achieve a good thick sounding pad as mine seem to either be too thin or distort when i turn the cutoff up.
Any help would be appreciated!

What do you guys think about this?: https://www.box.com/s/pf16tmc4rb7srpg14i0f (Soundcloud didn't work. You can listen it directly from the link. No download needed)
Was thinking of making it drop after that. How's the mixing? Suggestions?

Re: killakam98 - Deep Inside (Dubstep/Filth)(VIP Mix)
There's not much to the drums, really. The kick sounds like it's been ripped of low frequencies, snare is just a boring sample from vengeance essential clubsounds-pack. The hihat is repetitive and lonely with no open hihat there to keep the flow going.

Awesome! Very nice synthwork. There's something about the drums I don't like though... Maybe it's just me.

Re: FEEDBACK NEEDED FOR GLITCHSTEP/TRAPSTYLE SONG
Cool track. All those short sounds blend in very well to a nice, rhythmic piece. I suppose that's what glitchstep is all about..? That jazz-ish piano fits in perfectly! Keep up the good work.

Re: Dance/trance
Nice! Catchy melody. The drums are very dubstep-ish.
Needs some mid bass along with that sub bass.

Anton Varis - Someone Lost (Electro/Brostep w/ music video)
I was actually inspired to this by the current brostep competition but then I decided I'd not enter since the track came out 150bpm instead of required 140. And, well, I didn't wanna haste it.

Stabbing electro padsynth in massive?
I've been trying to replicate this sound for some time now and I just can't get it right. It's this pad-ish synth quite commonly used in electro songs nowdays. And I know it can't be too complicated but it's just I'm not very good in sound design.

Re: Massive's 'new sound' and default preset act differently
Looks like it was the voicing tab's pitch cutoff that I had missed. :u: Stupid me...
Switched off it sounds like this:

Massive's 'new sound' and default preset act differently?
Ok so I've always had some problems with massive when making pad sounds and such. This time I wanted to take a deeper look into it and I discovered something weird;
When you make a synth out of default preset of massive (the one that opens up when you start massive), there's a huge difference ...
