Re: LFB - Make Me (Drumstep)
I'm not sure about the tone of the main square wave bass. I think you need to make it sound more interesting, either with effects or give it more movement with automation. It just sounds a bit plain. I like the sound of the drums though and the general vibe. I was listening to it with mini headphone...

Timhet - The Penguin Song (Electro-house)
I've been making mainly dubstep/drumstep, but I thought I would try something different and make an electro-house song. Please let me know what you think.
Its called The Penguin Song.

Good work brah. My only suggestion would be to add some variety with the hi-hats. They sound a bit programmed throughout. Maybe alter the volumes of each one, de-quantize them or add some groove/swing to them.

Really nice vibe and atmosphere going on here. For me, the best bit is the drum sample selection. It makes your tracks sound unique.

Both tracks sound really professional. Love the atmosphere. They are mixed really well. Really like the panning effects you have on the sounds.

Thanks man,
I like that phrase 'bro, but not as we know' - I might make that my EP title if I get around to making it. Thanks regarding the scream vocals, I did all the vocals myself and I wasn't sure if they worked or not, so thanks for your feedback.

Re: Dub-Step Flavoured Metal From Girls That Scream
I listened to the first three song listed (I'm at work so will have to listen to the others when I'm home). I think mixing dub and metal are a match made in heaven, or should that be hell? ;) On a sliding scale, it sounds about 90% metal and 10% dubstep, which is fine. I think you could incorporate ...

Re: X-Ray Kat: - Biscuit Blaster(My First Dubstep Track)
Good job - I would recommend adding in some more low end bass frequencies. Theres plenty of mid-range and high end.

Re: Mega chillled [Bit of a drop]
Nice work - Its got a warm, chilled-out vibe and atmosphere to it. It also kept me interested throughout to hear what happens next. I reckon the you could add more reverb on the white noise/hats that happen throughout. They just seem a tad harsh given the vibe of the track. You add some reverb at ar...

Not sure how you could improve it. Love when the sub kicks in at the start, then things really start moving in the second half. I really like how you have mixed all the different sounds especially in the second half.

Re: King Kilo - Breaker (Darkstep / Heavy / Filth)
I like it. I'm a fan of the higher tempo dubstep style. I would only recommend maybe a bit more variety with the main theme, whether it be more tempo changes, more light and shade etc...just something to mix it up a bit.

timhet - Bad Feeling and Operator (Dubstep/Groove)
I'm fairly new to the genre so I'm not sure how to classify both of these songs. They are just some early drafts of a couple riffs. I would love to get some early feedback. I'm trying to create something with a bit of a groove to it. http://soundcloud.com/tim-hetherington/operator-dub2 http://soundc...
