Re: Zomboy "Terror Squad" Bass
I've been trying to get this sound too.
I'm actually in reason 7 so i can't tell you what massive parameters to use but i've come pretty close with the following:
It's gotta be multiple square oscs for sure.
I've been messing with 2 square*4 waves with no motion through the wavetable except for a ...

Re: Controlling the high end to not over-exagerate itself?
I think you've got it pretty close already man! I like your tunes, very quality.
Multiband compressors can definitely help you, you can isolate the top end that you want to smooth out and only allow the compressor to trigger on those freqs.
Also, i noticed around 1 minute in your track, the saw ...

Zomboy Sound - Crazy Drop
Hey dudes,
I've been listening to the new Zomboy track "Terror Squad" - it's pretty awesome.

Anyone know what that sound is comprised of in the main breakdown around 1:10?
Squares? Lots of low decay reverb? Imaging voices? Overdrive? I've ...

Re: MUST DIE!/Skrillex - Mid range pluck
Thanks for the reply Eskimo! its greatly appreciated, I don't use massive normally, but dusted it off and tried out your settings, and with a few tweeks i got something close to my liking, although normally i use reason 5 which doesnt support massive, but ill be sure to keep that around for further ...

MUST DIE!/Skrillex - Mid range pluck
Hey guys, I am relatively new to these forums, but i've been producing for about 3 years now.
I've been working on this sound that I've been hearing more and more of lately, and quite frankly, this sound i so off the hook i can't help but try to recreate it.
