how long does it take for you to make a tune from start to finish?
or how long does it take to get a general demo idea for e.g. 16 bars of a drop.

how is the best way to go about doing this? people say "get in touch with the promoters"
but how do you get the contact details of promoters that organise these events?

Just find a small venue with a decent system.
