Re: Siktec - Excite (Dubstep/Heavy)
try sidechaining it more drastically, and also try cut the kick's and snare's peak frequencies in the baselines! Oh well and most important check your snare and kick compression settings, dynamics are very important to get shit loud!

Re: Siktec - Excite (Dubstep/Heavy)
the bass is very heavy, I like it! But snare and kick are lost in the mix, I can hear them but I can't hear the punch in the chest, try eq sidechain the whole track to them!

Re: WIP Thread - GIVE FEEDBACK TO OTHERS BEFORE POSTING!!!

Re: WIP Thread - GIVE FEEDBACK TO OTHERS BEFORE POSTING!!!
[quote="Crimsonghost"]@ Rawful; I really like your bass sounds. A lot. The low end seems to be a bit to dominant in the mix (imo), but otherwise i think everything else sets together pretty nice. Theres a really good display of audio manipulation here, but the track doesnt really seem to go anywhere ...

Re: WIP Thread - GIVE FEEDBACK TO OTHERS BEFORE POSTING!!!
@mtl6 The sound and mixing is pretty tight overall, but the structure is quite nomotonous, I personally would play with the bass frequencies a little more, like take a break part in the middle ( or better at the beginning) and cut low frequencies form the kick, then create some tension with some ...
