Re: ExGauge - Draconian (Untongue) (Dubstep)

Hi ExGauge,

I liked it
The Intro white noise was a little harsh for me, I think it needs turning down or EQing a little.
I like the guitar esq synth its nice. The vocal samples are pretty sweet as well. That plucky string guitar sound gives it almost an indian vibe.
Nice change up at 1:50. I ...

ExGauge - Draconian (Untongue) (Dubstep)

Hello again!

Just finished my 3rd track titled Draconian (Untongue).

The vision for this song was simple, create something harsh and severe with heavy guitar influences.

I'm still pretty new to the producing music scene so I know I have a lot to learn and a long ways to go too.

Constructive ...

ExGauge - Megaton (Dubstep)

Well, it's that time again!

https://soundcloud.com/exgauge/exgauge-megaton

After completing my track "Sun Down", I decided to come back and visit "Megaton" which was an unfinished project of mine.

I feel like it's where it should be and I'm now comfortable saying it's complete. I'm sure you all ...

Re: ExGauge - SuN Down (Dubstep/Drumstep)

Sounds really good, loving everything about the drums! And the bass really works for that raw energy, punching someone in the face feel ;)

All I would say (and I'm being super picky!) is the chords on the pad don't seem dark/moody enough. And maybe it needs some kind of nasty tones mix in with it ...

ExGauge - Sun Down (Dubstep/Drumstep)

https://soundcloud.com/exgauge/exgauge-sun-down

This is my latest track titled "Sun Down"

I've been working "Sun Down" off and on for about a week and a half and finally finished it this evening.

My main goal was to harness that raw energy of making you want to jump up and down, skank about in ...

Re: ExGauge - Beautiful Madness (Chillstep/Work In Progess)

Mixdown is very LOUD. The snare is smacking to the point of being piercing, and those pad sounds around the 1min mark are sitting so far up in the mix that they're drowning out some of the other elements :?

Thanks for the feedback, and you're absolutely right.

I tweaked quite a bit on my latest ...

Re: ExGauge - Beautiful Madness (Exposed)

Good track. The drums aren't really fresh, they're simple, very understandable since ur new at this, but try layering. Also, the pad has too much attack on it. The notes are great, the intro gets you in a certain mood though, and the synths drive it out of context in the beginning. when you bring ...

ExGauge - Beautiful Madness (Exposed)

Hello again!

I've been non-stop obsessing over my track ever since I started developing the basic intro I shared with you all and decided to share with you my progress thus far.

At the start, it had the "beautiful" element but was completely missing the "madness", until now. I'm having a lot of ...
