Re: Method - WIP

Thanks all for the kind words!
Thats nuts!!

What did you use to make those mid bass sounds?

Insane!

Its all reese bass processing, theres only technically two or three basses in the whole song. One of them has foley of a crushed waterbottle stretched out over it and the other is just a standard ...

Re: The Official Growl Bass Thread

Just automate the amount of modulation going into E and automate the pitch. Also add some distortion and saturation to seriously beef it up:D

Oh I already knew that kind of fm8 growl, I thought you did something new I could learn from lol, try having a sine wave at 16 ratio modulating the ...

Re: The Official Growl Bass Thread

Straight out of FM8 with no external FX or plugins... not even EQ automation :O

I found out that you technically don't need EQ automation as you can make the vowel shapes using FM instead. A great tip is to watch the spectrum on FM8 while making it ...

Re: KTN High pitched screech

So far no filters are being used, straight out of fm8 into harmor with some distortion and unison on low settings, ive never had much luck utilizing comb filters, any plugins you recommend? Or should the bifilter2 comb filter work fine?

Ive come close but i cant get the "ripping" feel this bass has which makes it sound clean:

Any ideas for processing chains? Is there ...

Re: The Official Growl Bass Thread

Roght frequency shifter happens before voicing though so you can get interesting results with frequency shifting amd many voices.
And I dont think rehashing certain interesting tips makes this thread bad necessarily.
