Was this track recorded with a butt-plug doubling as a microphone?

Re: Trillz- In Trouble (TRAP)

Production values are good, overall mix sounds loud and clear. Can I make one suggestion though? Lose all the cheesy "ay! ay! heyy!" type samples, they sound artificial cheapen the sound. Find someone who spits, I'm sure you know someone, or if not just ask around, and record something liv...

Re: Atnos - Obelisk [F-D] (Drumstep/Progressive Dubstep)

One of the better tracks I've heard today actually. Well done, this sounds original. Though it is missing something - Sub bass, and sonic movement in regards to the synths. What sequencer / synths do you use?

Re: navidson - dark frequency (ambient / dub / deep)

Not bad for a first attempt. You clearly know your way around a sequencer / sampling etc. Overall the elements are quite confusing though - I recommend that next time you pick only a handful of rhythmic and musical ideas to express in a track. Use, repeat, elaborate and embellish those. Otherwise wh...

Re: KMEDIA4000

What speakers did you mix this on? It is lacking in the mid range a lot, and there is far too much going on rhythmically. Structurally it is inconsistent and confusing. Like I've said to a few other people today, listen to the structure of some of your favorite tracks, and try to emulate. Copy them ...

Re: alien.

Nice attempt, structurally sound. You're right in saying it sounds alienlike, I'd like to hear a little more variation with the main synth though, and overall sounds. There is a high frequency in your main 'wub' sound, which was very tiring for my ears after a while.

Re: NeuroDubstep

Never heard anything like this before. Wicked sound! Would love to know how you get those sounds. At points though (on my monitors at least) the main neuro synth sounds a little forward. Keep it up, I think you're on to something good here.

Re: Sean Marbaugh - Freak Her (Electronic/Dubstep)

To paraphrase what someone else said to me once in regards to mixing and EQ "playing live (and writing) is like building a ship on the sea and having all the freedom to sail it. Writing and recording a track is like building a ship in a bottle"

Re: Sean Marbaugh - Freak Her (Electronic/Dubstep)

Hi Sean. I will give you my 'two cents'. Freak her: The first half of the intro starts of well. It's catchy, and had my attention. I thought ooh - interesting - what's next, expecting the second half to build, but it didn't, instead it sounded a little confused. No biggie, just get a bit more going ...

Re: Zillion - Dangerous (Dark/Deep)

Everything in this track is sublime. Sounding great. Like someone else mentioned though, the timing of the vocals are detracting from the vibe - definitely get those vocals in time with the rest of the tune. Where did the vocals come from?

Hi there, I'm in a rush at the mo so only had a chance to listen to the first track but will give you some quick feedback! First thing to say: There is potential there. I can see that although you are learning production at the moment, there are good musical ideas there. What are you aiming for thou...

Back in the game - New tune. My 'return' after hiatus

Hi guys. So here's my story. I had to give up music more or less all together a few years ago due to the stress of finding work after college and moving places became a little too much. Anyway, last year I was diagnosed with Glandular fever and I have just recently been signed off work by the doctor...

Re: Ghost Wobble (old school dubstep)

Hi there, firstly thanks for taking the time and working up the courage to post this here... Secondly, I noticed that you said you didn't want to put a lot of effort into this production and are only doing this because you are bored - is that really your true motivation or are you actually intereste...

Re: kubek - bad things

Some good ideas here, very minimal. There are a few things to my ear that are missing though, very quick and easy to implement. I'd like to hear a little more sine wave sub-bass with the main synth, tuned under it, and in the intro / gaps, I'd like to hear something to keep an indication of the temp...

Re: some brostep - Reverie

Hey there! That intro was really beautiful, as in, it moved me. Did you write / record it? Production values after the drop aren't too bad to my ear either, although EQ wise it could do with a little more separation and definition there. Rhythmically there is one bass drum in the first half / calm b...

Hey man. Tight production values here. Sounds like musically you've got some good ideas thrown in there too, I can definitely hear your influences coming through. Interesting gameboy type outro. How long have you been producing / listening to electronic music for? I'd say keep going, keep producing....
