yeah, just turn up the attack on the synth. or low-pass it to all hell. or compress it. I usually come across this when making a sub in Massive, but never 3xOsc, and my usual solution is turning the attack up. ives it some depth ...

srsly mate, don't worry about fm8 yet. it's pretty advanced stuff (but fun once you get into it). defs not beginner things. massive is good to start out with (and that's what your using, yeah? it kinda sounds like it :P ), and you should stick with using simpler synths until you start to learn how ...
