Do what you would normally do when making a growl then split your sound into lows, mids and highs.

Take the mids and branch it out to two more separate inserts (flstudio) or just double the mids in a rack. (ableton)

Lows and highs stay basically untouched. Replace the sub if you'd like... but for ...
