Re: Cryptic - GSC [Dubstep]
I like the idea of the tune and you have carried it off well :) The Bass sound is dirty and great, and you have a good haunting piano tune to give the track a themed feel :) A couple of things to note: - I feel like the snare doesn't come through the mix very well, its not a bad snare, it just needs...

Re: What monitors do you use when producing?
I own a pair myself and the low fqs are quite hyped. someone on the neurohopforum compared them to krk monitors and he is somehow right, but eventhough the bass frequencies are prominent I found the mids to be very clear. If you're looking for flat headphones dt990s might be a better option but I'm...

Re: What monitors do you use when producing?
I have a pair of KRK Rokkit 8's for mid and far field, a pair of KRK Rokkit 5's for near field and a lovely big KRK 10s for the sub (which is switched off most of the time when I'm working because frankly the walls can't handle it, mostly only use it for the final mixdown)

Re: unfinished but any thoughts about it?
Positives: :W: - Good variety of sounds used - Decent mix down - Levels seem to be on point (gain) - Original little arp pattern - Drums sit nicely in the mix Negatives: :a: - No real arrangement to the main bass pattern - No build up or crossover, could really use something to give the track direct...

Re: Iilti - Machines
Interesting concept man,
I feel like if you added bait more space in the sound (the reverbs run into each other sometimes) it would be great but otherwise nice job

Absolutly fantastic ideas in this track :3
I dont feel like the bass is coming through as much as it could though and the basses and leads are crushing the drums
Really like what youve done though

I like what you have but it just feels like its unfinished at the moment:

I think the snare comes through a little hard, maybe change the levels ?
I like the ideas and the bass is pretty sweet but I think some elements could do with a remaster :3

I like the way you establish your own style throughout these tunes:
Would love to hear abit of crunchy percussion in the background though
I think it would give you an edge :3

Re: Vault - Time to Rock (BroStep/CLIP)
This has some really really sweet elements to it:
I'm Seriously impressed however I agree this could do with a little more variation and possibly a helping of grit on some of the basses
This is where distortion comes in handy and get friendly with bitcrushers :3
Hope this helped and great work :3
