Re: Are you happy with your music?

Not yet, have releases lined up and get good feedback and stuff but I still don't feel I've found my identity yet. Once I've found music that's 'me' and is high quality that's when I know I'm on the right path :D That's a very mature way to go about it. It seems like you have some good business sen...

Re: new dubstep track

Thanks man :D No matter how hard I try I just can't write uplifting happy songs. I guess it's just my love for harmonic minors.

Teardrop cover

This is my spin on Massive Attack's Teardrop. I'm a big fan of Massive Attack and Portishead. I didn't change much because I think the song is perfect as is. I just added my own vocals and remade the instrumentations. Hope you enjoy :)

I really mean no offense by this but it sounds like you just took the original track and sped and pitched it up

new dubstep track

I'm sorry if my posts lately have just been for feedback, but I really want to make sure that what I'm doing lately is relevant to trustep. Not that it matters that much because I enjoy writing these tracks but I just want to be able to place them in the right genre. Feedback would be nice! Thanks! ...

Re: Are you happy with your music?

I think most people have that problem. The musicians that tend to not have transitional issues and so on are usually studio musicians that extensively trained in music theory. But that's just my opinion, I could be wrong.

Our government often likes to make fools of us. No and I don't think it will at this point. Which is a good thing. :)

Re: Dubstep? First attempt at a none "Brostep" track

very cool man thanks for the recommendation. Not all metal is good. I'm actually not really into American metal. I really like Swedish rhythmic metal. Don't know if you've ever given these guys a listening to, but check out Meshuggah. They perfected the art of rhythmic metal. Particularly in the son...

Re: Dubstep? First attempt at a none "Brostep" track

Oh ok :D I actually had to look the word up  Not to familiar with slang from outside the U.S. I listen to everything pretty much man. Actually my favorite artist who ever lived is Glenn Miller, but I grew up listening to NIN and Tool. I just recently got into EDM so my knowledge of it is very l...

Re: Are you happy with your music?

I myself, along with many other musicians have the musicians curse. Nothing is ever complete and everything sounds like shit. There is a point when making music that you have to just let it go. Otherwise you'll never release a song. With that being said I usually hate my track when I first make it, ...

Re: Dubstep? First attempt at a none "Brostep" track

aye sounds cheeky its fairly mello but everyone has their own idea of what 'real' dubstep is and theres a fairly huge variety of sounds that fall under dubstep. it doesnt sound like brostep though so uve achieved that  I meant no disrespect but I guess I can see how it came across that way. I ...

Dubstep? First attempt at a none "Brostep" track

This is my first attempt at electronic music without the so called Brostep sound. I really don't know what genre it fits in. If anyone could give me some feedback I would really appreciate it. For people that listen to dubstep, could you please let me know if I'm headed in the right direction in ter...

Quick question. If the majority of the UK and Europe can't stand Brostep, then why does Skrill-x play packed shows in the UK?

Re: Irritating shit on facebook

It's like saying you're a part of an anarchist group, which contradicts the whole purpose of being an anarchist. actually most anarchists believe in some kind of structure, as long it's organised so that nobody has any authority over anyone else. it's more about opposing hierarchies than structure ...
