Definitely interesting. The drums, especially the snare, stand out a lot against the muddy, ambient leads. Not sure if that's intended, but it took the focus off of the bass and leads.

I'm just going to say, from a sound design perspective Boasson Hagen is pretty sick. You might be prejudiced against brostep, maybe even for good reasons, but at least admit that it took some effort to make those wubs and that should be respected
