Snare routine 00

It's just me working on a snare... it's more like a "neurohop" type of snare but it can works also for dubstep.
Let me know what do you think :)

The original post was SPECIFICALLY aimed towards me trying to achieve it in massive.. I know FM synthesis is the best but Massive is what I wanted to use because I don't want to learn Sytrus or FM8 at this moment in time...

Ah... ok.. Basically I used the Phase rate of the MOD OSC as a modulator ...

I told 9skies(Akrukia) this before I think its best to do this inside fm. Im an ableton user, so i tried going through the route of using operator and all native and one external plugin. You can't just some use a random patch and throw delays,tight reverb, phaser and chorus and make something ...

Uhm... May be a starting poi could be recreating something similar... In Destroy the bass seems to be played with some sort of legato. Assuming that he uses massive you could try to use the envelopes to shape the main sound and the lfos for other modulations.

Hi everyone, somewhere i red that D-Jahsta uses Ableton's Operator to make his basses. I think that is possibile to achieve these sound in Massive, FM8, Operator and Sylenth 1. The matter is obviously HOW.
