I highly recommend Sennheiser HD-25, they're definitely worth the money.

What magazines do you read and which can you recommend? I'm looking for something which is more for an advanced/experienced producer with the main focus on Mac/Logic users.

Well, a snare you think is good could be shit in my opinion, so let's not talk about something like that as it's pointless. But just giving any snare reverb doesn't make it better or worse, that's what I was trying to say.
