Chill on the whole deletion thing, after all, the mods only got rid of it in the first place in an effort to stop more people finding out how to steal music! All on the same side here.

I think the thread deletion was reasonable. Although in that instance, perhaps we could have got away with the initial post being edited to remove the sensitive info?

Realistically there isn't much we can do to stop it, except make sure people reading this forum are aware that it really does damage the small labels. the whole 'I try mp3s then buy the real thing' doesn't really work in a scene so small and driven by such low-profit margin labels.
