foley is the incidental sounds in a film or tv show.
every footstep, glass clink, key rattle, blood drip.
all done by a foley artist.

Yeh there is good bass on some headphones but that's just the tip of the iceberg for dubstep, I think I could respect the opinion of someone who has only heard of dubstep on a laptop or whatever, because deep down I know that when they do end up at a night with a sub rattling their bones they will ...

if they only wanted sub, there'd be nothing to stop them building tunes like that.

that's if "dubby" means it reminds you of dub.
it doesn't remind me of dub at all.

heart rate is varying but 60 - 70 is closer.

and fwiw, dubstep isn't divided,
it's wide.

i did think that i mainly wanted to hear ravey, up-beat stuff in the dance.
then i went to a dubstep do.
got hit by tunes by loefah, digital mystikz, kode9 etc.
realised that the rational mind knows nothing about enjoying music.
nowadays, to me, really jumped up, mega-kean beats just sound a bit ...

sun writers do it up pantomime style cos that's why ppl buy newspapers.
