loving this remix

i've tried to beef up that mix, not saying it's amazing now but maybe a bit more balanced

i havent used samples for subs ever since I learned to program synths. DJ madd in his Q&A talked about how he uses samples for his subs, so I'm sure there's plenty of other producers with a similar quality sound doing the same thing. Whats the point of using samples for this?

Mostly the already mentioned Kjaerhus Classic series
apart from that I use the Cubase built in ones a lot like quadrafuzz and the cubase reverbs etc.

for synths and sounds the usual ones Albino / Sylenth / Blue

Just thought of another one - where do you source your samples from - do you like use sample packs etc or sample from tunes, drum machines, acoustic kits?

I get my single hits from sample cds mostly, then I layer those with classic breaks using those big packs that have been floating around.
