Most of my beats are in a digital format and need a software to mix with.
I don't want CD decks!
Why not go the Ableton/Laptop route then as an alternative ? or you already skilled on decks ?
I find Ableton allows much more flexibility, obviously you can have the tempo matching pretty much ...

Korg are ready to release a KP3 version that looks very promising.. pricey though.. I have a KP1 and have used mates KP2 ... great little boxes...
