Okay, the 1st tune I need to know about is the one with the vocals "Soundboy is my target, always" it was played on the Chef b2b with N-Type on Rinse on 20th Jan, any clues?

The 2nd one is gonna be a lot harder, I recorded it on my phone will in a club so the quality is a bit whack, also it isn't ...

I just wanna say big up to N-Type and Chef for this, it was a big session with heavy tunes all the way through. I was almost starting to not get the same vibe from Dubstep (:o) and then they dropped this on me, best show i've heard in ages! Makes me remember everything I fuckin love about dubstep ...

To answer your post, I recommend general books on production rather than anything specific to a sequencer. As I said before, the principals don't change - just a way of working.

Bob Katz's "Mastering Audio" is highly recommended. Although aimed at the mastering ...

dark crystal has been around for quite a while now, and i'd say its easily the most fwd thinking dubstep night in sheffield. the promoters are more than dedicated, just as the crowd are.
