Re: Cubase AI4 vs Cubase 4 ? ? ?

they should have a feature comparisson on the steinberg site..

Usually the difference is the amount of plugins you can use per track and the simultaneous tracks you can have per project. and media bay...?

Check http://steinberg.net/

the pro version is really worth the money :)

Re: Sub Bass, the key of 'G' and Harmonic Exciters.

^^ A good bassline IMO comes down to (in order) 1.) Rhythm 1.) Melody 2.) Interaction with other percussive and or musical elements 3.) Movement (phasing, modulation, filtering), Fills/variation 4.)Progression Then last 5.) Phat mix /presence/harmonics You can have an unprocessed bassline where if a...

Your never going to get it sounding spot on unless you have the presets and exact settings for the bass... You can get close tho.. it is a good exercise to learn from.

Be unique.. don't steal his sounds.. Learn from them

If i were to choose out of cubase 3 and nunedo 3... i'd choose nuendo Nuendo is as close to cubase 4 as u will get. It includes control room. Cubase 3 does not have control room. Control room is handy because u can manage dif outputs to A/B and have a fader that is seperate ffrom the master fader. M...

spectral analyzer and sub together are your friend. BHecause listening to low end in an uncalibrated room is VERY deceiving

then match up

Also alot of monitors won't properly respond below 60hz (even tho they go down to 45-50).. I noticed this on my dynaudio bm5a's
