i totally understand that "soundsystem" aspect of such a live show, but i think what most people, that are critical of his show, are trying to say, is that it just doesn't come across that well.

live PA's (even with only a laptop) get paid way better than dj gigs. simple as.... as a "professional" musician you can't blame him, guy has to somehow earn his living and have some savings for the future...

as a dj you always want to have those crazy dubplates that the the producer and "big name" dj's are dropping but maybe think about it this way, maybe cutting and playing dubs ISN'T about a forthcoming release?

this must be one the biggest disappointments in the whole "dubstep history".

don't get me wrong, rusko is a great producer and has innovated many things with his style over the years, no doubt.

but that remix is just pure shite. yeah, heavy bassline, but that's it. SHIT vocals, SHIT original tune ...

of course it sucks that the tune is getting played, but from the tracklist with wrong title, nobody will find out who really made the tune (e.h. the kiss show). that can happen and of course isn't good, but people make mistakes.

maybe from now on rusko will pay more attention how he names the tunes ...

tune sounds pretty uninspired, imho... quite "cold" electronic production. of course you might say, that's taste but to me it sounds like a quick production on the computer with state-of-the-art software, tweek some presets sounds, put in a very un-rythmic tempo-change in the song and off you go ...

yo dude, just to let you know, it's NOT LEGAL to sell mix cds off ebay, if you haven't licensed the individual tracks from the original artists / labels.

and promoting a dubstep night by selling of mix cd's without paying the artists is pretty weak...
