i totally understand that "soundsystem" aspect of such a live show, but i think what most people, that are critical of his show, are trying to say, is that it just doesn't come across that well.
it's something different when you watch david rodigan just play tune after tune and talk over it. that's ...

i know everybody can have their own opinion but if this is as big as dubstep is gettin, then good luck for the future. we'll soon have a pendulum-style-dubstep-mainstream.
i know i posted on how wack that remix is, but i still can't get over it. rusko is a dope dope producer but almost every tune i ...

this must be one the biggest disappointments in the whole "dubstep history".
don't get me wrong, rusko is a great producer and has innovated many things with his style over the years, no doubt.
but that remix is just pure shite. yeah, heavy bassline, but that's it. SHIT vocals, SHIT original tune ...

of course it sucks that the tune is getting played, but from the tracklist with wrong title, nobody will find out who really made the tune (e.h. the kiss show). that can happen and of course isn't good, but people make mistakes.
maybe from now on rusko will pay more attention how he names the tunes ...

tune sounds pretty uninspired, imho... quite "cold" electronic production. of course you might say, that's taste but to me it sounds like a quick production on the computer with state-of-the-art software, tweek some presets sounds, put in a very un-rythmic tempo-change in the song and off you go ...

ok, your post makes sense. didn't think about this topic in that way...
my post was more "general". not focusing on what an individual artist earns, i just meant general assumptions. as i said, e.g. "you get about 300 quid if you are a semi-famous dj at fwd", whatever... ;)
i don't really care how ...

ah man, he might have formulated it a bit strange, but the man's just interested in some facts, e.g. you get 200 € standardly at "club xyz" in "etc...".

LFO: haha, yeah, dubstep invented this dubstep invented that... come on, dubstep is dope but it's not like it brought so much new stuff. just took the dark uk garage music to a more halfstep beat and put more sub under it, sometimes brass melodies or synths, sometimes dubbed out sounds. that ain't ...

there are loads of missy tunes which some folks would call copy-cat dubstep now, but they were way before. sorry, don't know the exact titles. but old missy stuff is dope to mix in a halfstep context.
i'll look some tunes up if i have time.
