Some will and some wont, only way of rally finding out is by look at each vst's manufacturers websight.

You can still buy pc's without vista tho, i jus got one and it has xp.

Main bonus was that it comes with cubase studio 4. Its £334 so spending more than i wanted but i need to get cubase so it makes sense?

well the way i see it, i could buy a standard not too great one for £60. Then in a few months end up spending £170 anyway because that one aint cutting it no more.

Might aswel get yourself something that will last you a while.

Been lookin at reviews at that one and it seems pretty decent, anyone ...

Recently purchased a new computer from inta audio, the computer did not come with a soundcard so i must buy one.

Anyone have any recommendations? Max price i can pay is £200.

Would prefer it to be external (USB 2) one as i am not expereicned with putting anything inside computers, but if it is ...

There is no 'right' or 'wrong' way to mix. Some things sound good and some things sound bad but if we never experimented we would still be in the same place as we were ages ago.

Best thing to do is to read as much as you can from forums/books/ magizenes etc, try it out and see what sounds good ...

The problem is i dont have the .bin or .cue files.
Just the installation files + sound banks as files.
Maybe i need to make these into an image then burn them, but what files do i put onto the cd because i remember on reason 3, you had to have certain files on the cd so it was the right size or it ...

Just got a new computer, installing reason... have the files on the computer, no cd's involved. It installed fine but when i went to run it it said i needed to put the reason dvd in the drive.
I know i need to do something like burn some files to a cd and put that in, but not sure what files i need ...

Any serious producer using reason will be using it rewired with a host application. This is why it has no VST support. Aint that much of a need for it.
