also, not sure if it has anything to do with it but even with very low output from mixer traktor is constantly in the red ... occasionally i get pops & drop outs ... any ideas about this ?

after being a long time vinyl junkie i finally bit the bullet & went digital. after doing some research i settled on traktor scratch pro 2 .

a little tip!
Look on the Transport bar (where play etc.. is ) and when you turn a midi controlling perimeter, weather it be a note or a midi pan pot, it says the midi channel, midi number etc so you can see whats coming in/out.

already flicked through the manuals & couldn't really see anythin' that would help . . . noticed a few other people askin' for similar info on other forums, all to no avail . . .

ive been using logic for about a year now (just upgraded to 9:)) but ive never used any kind of external hardware (midi controller etc) so im a little clueless in this area. ive just come across a usb "midisport 4x4" & all the cables/connectors etc needed to hook my electribe up to my computer ...

di some wobbed out stuff in 3/4 last year with lots of strings, sounded like an "evil pirates waltz" ! was a bit of a ball ache to get ma head around at firs but got well into it eventually

just picked up a lovely new MBP with OS X snow leopard ! after installin' logic i started rinsin' the net for plugin's :) when tryin' to open the files stuffit expander gives me the followin' message:

i know, stupid question or what !
ive got the monitors coming out the back of the project mix. ive set the audio preferences in logic to "project mix multi channel" but im not getting any signal through. the project mix is set to "logic mode" . . .
any suggestions ? sorry if this is another basic ...

the project mix is installed, well and truely linked up with logic and im loving it !
just wondering the best option for monitoring... is is better to run the sound directly out of the project mix to a set of monitors or separately out the back of the mac and use the project mix solely for ...

still trying to figure out how to connect my project mix with logic 8 !
drivers have been installed (several times). logic doesnt recognise the hardware in the preferences, hardware set up section. what am i doing wrong ? has anyone else had these problems ?

ok, so im helping a friend set up his studio and he just bought a firewire m-audio project mix.
how do i get it to "collaborate" with logic ? haven't used any external controllers with logic as yet so im a little confused any suggestions would be helpful !
