really enjoying making dubstep at the mo - its brought back some of the experimentation & fun d&b used to have when i first started (i still love d&b but tbh it can be a little bit restrictive these days in terms of structure etc)
Got back from work & started messing with a drum pattern i'd had sat in my projects folder for a while... was clearly in the right mood coz i've pretty much got a final tune sorted.

u have to really understand d&b to make it... well, for me anyway. u really have to be passionate about it. & u have to know ur technical shit coz its all about twisting sounds up for maximum effect.
maybe not what ur after, but it may help... try using the matrix & assigning an lfo to control the frequency of the cutoff filter - u can set the lfo to sync 1/4 or whatever u may need & adjust the phase etc so the lfo starts how u want. then adjust the intensity of the link in the matrix section ...
i'm sticking with SX3 for now due to DX compatibility - they dropped this in 4 & u have to use a DX > VST app to use them & then u can't open old projects to work on as it won't remember settings etc.
i've also read that there are quite a few bugs they need to fix, but then I can't say that SX3 has ...
