At this very moment, it is quite clear that you've never actually tried mpc.

I was wondering the excact same thing a while ago.

Sidechain compression gives the messy and shaky feel fly lo has. It also sounds like Fly lo is layering his snares so that their transients don't quite match. It sounds like the drum machine is drunken.

Could someone post a sample of that Brutal Electro-patch. Something to put into sampler. First there was hoover, then came Reese and now 'brutal electro' seems to be the next thing. Let's give it 5 years or so and people will be making threads on dogsonacid and here with thread names like "How ...

As long as the time signature is 4/4 one bar always has 4 quarter notes so it's the latter, tempo has no meaning in this.

Where is the vocal sample in "The prayer" taken from? It's absolutely haunting. Distance's remix of it really got me into dubstep. Your original version is even better tho.

Haven't checked out too much of your music otherwise. What would you recommend for a beginner sparx-afficiando?

Not true. You would be hearing the sound of the past.

Okay, what happens if you move away from a sound source faster than the speed of sound? That is a negive frequency. As you approach the speed of sound, the frequency will go lower and lower. When you match the speed of sound, all sound will stop, and as you accelerate beyond the speed of sound you ...

well.... if you input a negative frequency into a sound generator, you will hear the same sound as the positive frequency but the actual sound wave will be inverted (upside down). we may not be able to believe that negative frequencies can exist but this is how computers interpret them.... This sho...

You're all just shook. Just because there are different types of hip hop and d'n'b, it hasn't stopped new and intereting types of each music form from emerging. Naming sub styles of musical genres helps people to locate what they like when they are trying to find new music in that style. I like ful...

If you really want to rip audio off of youtube then it's as simple as: 1) Mini-jack to mini jack: line out to line in & 2) Something like audacity open and hit record! It's even more simpler. Press rec on the audacity while playing the youtube-video of your choice and it should be recorded. No ...

Utterly noobish question about records and their centerholes

So I've bought Zomby's new ep from my lousy local music store.

The centerhole in this said record is absolutely too small to fit on my record player. Should I/Dare I take the record back to the shop without seeming like whiny bastard?

thanks.
