will the recession affect the dubstep scene?

it seems to be hitting hard on everyone elses jobs and will probably only get worse in the 2009.

do dj,producers, promoters and anyone making a living of dubstep(or any other kind of underground scene)feel the effects of recessions?

just curious.

best cd decks for 300-400 pound

any recommendations, and do most cd decks have the same feel when mixing.
im a technics man and when it comes to turntables the pitch and control blows all other turntables out the water.

is this the same for cd decks?

how much difference is there between

a 320mp3 and a wav file.

the reason i ask this is because ive just downloaded a couple of 320mp3 tracks of dubplate.net and was gonna use them as a reference for mixing down some of my own stuff.

are they good enough to use?

if i was thinking of putting a track out i would get it mastered professionally.

im just talking about being able to get the mixdown to a professional level using just logic plugs.
things like the eq and compressors.

or do you think that uad, waves etc are miles better than logics plugs?

Scenario 3: You're working on a fat bass patch, and for some reason you can't figure out, because you don't build synthesizers, the fucking walls shake when you play F#, but the patch sounds weedy as fuck on middle C. So you sample that F#, load it into a sampler, map it across the keyboard, and no...

db level for sub when mixing down

i know the levels vary on different tracks but im just trying to work out roughly how loud my subs should be by using the dblevel because the acoustics in my room are all over the place.

im using logic and my kick is peaking -6db
