Sound Forge does because it uses maths and not oscillators.

what do you think is "making" those oscillations in the oscillators? its not a big mule turn wheel or control voltages etc. in this digi-realm, its all math: its about who's got the better algo-rythms.

I'm not talking about your source ...

I'm so tired of these long threads about what's good and what's not. Art is subjective...go make your own music if you don't like what you are hearing. And stop whining if your aesthetic isn't popular. If you truly enjoy it then you wouldn't care how popular it was.

I've been told good things about kjaerhus as well. You can always try and learn how to use the waves c1-sc but it's extremely complicated to use on a stereo signal and you need 2 instances to do it. The end result sounds great though

Lovers and passion for any type of art is a tough thing to manage in my experience. You have to find that one-in-a-million person who is willing to understand your passion/obsession.

you can always render it then put the sound in a wave editor such as cool edit or sound forge (peak for MAC users is good) and convert it into mono there

Synths oscillations aren't as pure as a single eqed frequency band pass with a high Q creating a self oscillating frequency. It's really important to get good full notes that are just sub fundamental.

What on earth are you talking about?
He means synths don't make pure sine waves. Sound Forge ...

Good post .Also, it's a good general rule that since reverb effects are supposed to be emulating a sound that happens naturally around us all the time that you place it after eqing to keep it sounding natural as possible

It does seem a little pointless when its easy to find a synth or set up a sampler to do the same thing, without creating a sample for each note. Uneven bass as you move through notes is much more likely to be caused by the acoustics of the room your in.

Synths oscillations aren't as pure as a ...
