you should take in count where your tune will be listened to. people who listen tunes on radio or at home hifi system will not benefit much from that low freq. and because lower freq takes more headroom basically you would want to roll of below 40Hz. i personally roll of bellow 50Hz.

I reckon there's still a lot that can be done with basic wobble bass. Some producers just use it as a lazy way to make OK tunes but I think it could still be used in new ways to devastating effect, like in DnB it's usually thought of the same way but producers like Calyx use cool techniques with it...
