A lot of people use it for solely drums but i find it can give your mix a good kick if you use it right, and the best thing about it is it ...

If you've managed to nail a sick beat but you're having difficulty finding the right kick/snare/hat/whatever sound then..

1. Load up a sampler of your choice
2. Trawl through your sample collection and assign a selection of different kicks/snares etc to midi notes.
3. Play back the loop and move ...

Roister - Really liking 'Faint', the piano samples are genius. The intro seemed to drag on a little bit though, i was waiting for the drop but it took a while, then again that kinda adds to the chilled vibe of it.

Telefon Tel Aviv really pushed me into electronic music.

With Dubstep i'd say it was the Garage Pressure mixes that gave me the bug, and then hearing 'Surgery' by Kromestar which really made me want to experiment with the darker side of production.

Many thanks for the comments Monday's Child, i agree about the intro to the Jazzanova tune, i think i'm gona have to cut it out and re-work it, i really buzz off the chorus bit though everytime i hear it.
