is it both monitors or just one that this is happening with? If you are getting a hiss with no signal leads plugged in at all its down to your speakers, send them back under the warranty. Thats what happened with one of my krks. Id find it very suspicious if the same fault developed in both monitors ...

keeping it sorta locked down for now man, not sure whats happenin with it. ill let everyone know soon as i do. peeeeace!

i sent a clip to some lables while i was making it and they seemed very interested in giving it a release. Ill have to find out a bit more before i give it out. Thanks for the wicked feedback.
