i think it's a bad sample and you need a better one

you can pimp up a snare with a lot (compression/non resonant filters/eq/verb/delay/... even phasers) but if the basic sample sucks, it stays sucking

just my 2 cents

ps: the reverb mark is very true, use verbs and subtile delays to create more ...

i would say sony vaio or mac. Most laptops are good for serato, but in clubs and parties it can become hot, and then the sony vaio's or mac's are the last ones to fail due to overheating.

Here in Belgium, you got different sorts of weed, hard to find homegrown but very nice stuff, hyped industrial stuff wich was forced in the growth and is sold for way to much to belgian standards (6-10€/gr), and mixed up bad quality stuff with sand, trashed glass, sugar, ... incorporated.

But ...

@ the charlatan ??? never expected that they would tollerate dubstep in there. It's mostly house-electro-mashup-rock there, but i'll take a look anyway ...

there is some logic in it, but only for me, other ppl call it a mess.

i mainly rate his older exterminator/digital b stuff (Praise Yeh Jah, Black Woman and Child, Kalonji, ...) with one exception, the Da Real Thing album on Digital B/VP records.

The more modern, grunty tunes are not often my cup of tea, there are some good, but too many bad tunes.
