Next thing I'm working on is creating different sounds that evolve together without noticable transition... using Pulse width modulation is a big help i dunno if this is a technical term, but groove and sound sculpting - manipulating the dynamics of samples so as to create more cohesive grooves ther...

I'm using an Emu 1616, you can get laptop models, it comes with a digital mixer (software) that lets you route any of the ins and outs anyway you like. You can set up and sends and returns so you wont get feedback.

I did find one way around it, but it only gives you the option to switch between two synced rates. Set the minimum value of a mod wheel from the bottom right to the normal lfo speed (non synced), make sure you set it to restart on each note and it will sound like it is perfectly synced all the time....

Sub levels vary with the different elements of different tracks, a good way to bring more sub in than normal is to set up a sidechain compression making the kick duck out the sub. This means you can raise its level a little more without clipping.

Press the load curve button in the top left of the performer window, it loads all the available wave shapes, select one, then click where you want to put it... simple :)
