for me the dubstep doesn't quite fit in many of the releases I've heard from them, so they are hardly a flagship for the 'dubstep' movement if they don't even claim to be part of it to begin with

Just as a response to anyone who's asking why Burial ? Why not anyone else.

When you take Burial's music and compare it with any of the dubstep artists there's a massive difference. I mean the fact is people like Kode-9 seem to recognise this is all nothing new for a start, hence the whole hyperdub ...

umm, not really sure what your trying to do mate but a tip re: the behringer - make sure you haven't hit one of the buttons at the right hand side of the machine - If you have a scene activated - it will auto-assign some of the controllers to features in whatever DAW/Instument you are using ...
