cheers, i only just realised all i needed to do was change the rate and vol on mod B. Took me 2 seconds, I now have stutter. Duh - i should really read the manual.

I can wobble though so don't worry about that :P

i used a toothbrush and hit the radiator - got a good sample, added effects and used it in my kit

what is it like mastering all the time?

i have never ever really thought much about mastering but i bet there is an art to it and it's probably a good way to go career wise.

no have idea mate, you are talking to a complete novice. All i am good at is playing and writing punk/metal on a guitar.

I only learned basics around frequencies about two weeks. All i have done since then is read everything i can.

But i learned about 12db the hard way the other day - sounded ...

Would you recommend going higher? i got 78-156hz up to 12db and the rest is at 0.

Sounds better already i think i will add mclass eq to all my sounds.

i have been playing guitar in bands for years but started making electronic stuff about three months ago.

my advice is to read as much as you can because producing is a lot more complex than i imagined.

my other advice would be to make sure you spend enough time getting the drums right before ...

i think i have figured it out, you can pretty much boost any part of the wave left to right (which appear to be the different frequencies). is 12db a bit overkill?
