care to share some techniques? like what you have going on in with the bass about around 1.23? (track in your sig)
I haven't toyed with malstrom much.. only used thor for awhile then recently subtractor! I rewire reason so I don't use it for bass much.. drums/fx and a pad or lead every now ...

Re: How filthy can Reason get?

Yeah all the synths in my sig tune (brutal) are reason. Mostly Malstroem with a wee bit of subtractor. If you mess enuf with malstroem it doesnt even need fx to be dirty & nasty.

Re: shufflely hat pattern

I spent ages reading up on how to program swing/shuffle in my hats , then i realised, its much easier to play it in on a midi keyboard/pads!

5) Being Scottish, if England (the oppressors) had actually played America (the liberators) in the World Cup, who would you have rooted for. Hint: don't betray your ancestors...

Sorry to butt in, and i don't have a question but England did play America in the world Cup!

Re: Reason 5....soon

Watch the video on their website. There are many improvements. Particularly the 'ghosting' of parts. Reason is horrible for moving multiple selections around. But it now looks like they have it sorted.

Reaper does have all sorts of new automation curves (recently introduced) Its a great program. I tried LIVE and didn't really like it. Reaper suits me much better. There are pros and cons to each but the beauty of reaper is you can download the program and use it for free untill you decide if you ...
