Re: NI Massive envelope re trigger

Not sure what exactly you want to accomplish but a workaround could be to route an LFO to the parameter your envelope is modulating and automate the amplitude of the LFO when you want it to modulate.

Re: Traktor Q&A

I recommend kontrol x1 if you haven't looked into it. Comes mapped with track scroll and load for each deck and is very intuitive for using hit points and looping without manually mapping. I have f1 as well but x1 is a gem of a controller. Another tip is you can use your mixers send channel with you...

logic destructive audio editing

How do I get around destroying my samples? Is there a setting in preferences to make a copy before edits are made?

Look at old school analog equalizers like pultecs. Helped me learn what to cut or boost because you only have certain options

Re: resampling my own synths?

Lot of different options.one possibility is make a nasty bass in reason and render for processing in audacity.for instance use a glitch vst like dblue.load the glitched wave to nnxt and vary your sample start by key.be creative.unless you are just looking to fatten up your bass.then I would suggest ...

Re: trying to remove the hiss and crackle from a 1920's spee

Title didn't say it had to be in reason..audacity is free and should host isotope rx or bitcrushers, etc.probably has. Native effects and probably better for processing your sample than reason

I mute everything else and bounce.click save to bin in the bounce menu and your kick will be available in the folder folder for that project as well

Re: How do you guys get your sub frequencies right?

not really what i practice but you can put a tune you like in your project file to compare on your freq. analyzer. or in logic, multimeter is even better. investing in a sub is what you should plan on doing. i recently got mine after producing for over 10 years and it makes a huge difference. but ne...
