The Widdler is a very good example of a Reasontist. His Toons are fucking beautiful, but sound like coming right out of an ass. Reason is an Artists instrument and needs to be treated as such. It is NOT a professional DAW. It sounds muddy and degenerated. But it has it's own sound. And if you like t...

Funny, I liked your tune, but after turning off the ambient track accidently running from youtube, I liked it a lot less.. So my suggestion is putting in some atmosphere

I just bought the MPD32. It's a superior product in terms of quality and design. Don't think about it being expensive because it's near perfect, really. But on these AKAI drumpads you have to work with your hands. If you want to use sticks, get one of the ROLAND drumpads, they are all very nice in t...

Here is one of my old electrotracks. There are no reverbs or delays in it and still sounds pretty 'full'. It's a good example for over-composition, tough...

I have no clue at all, but I think KRK is great. Want to add the RP10S sub to my RP6's so I am done with surfing the net for equipment ;)

fiel, 256, free style

Hi guys, just finished uploading this year's collection of my musical productions. Feel free to download and comment: http://www.stier.cc/music.html

The dubbas out there will likely to be interested in the second half of the album, cause the first three tracks belong to the infamous techno genre.

Yeah, you just have to set your soundcard to record "whatever you hear" in other words whatever comes through your speakers.

I don't get you guys, in my opinion Thor is one of the best sounding software synths I ever encountered, no comparison to all these 08/15 VST Plugins with their uninspired presets.

fliPPo: I guess it's because the KrK's are great? What really bugs me is they just announced Generation 2, after having mine for 1 month. GREAT!

bEErz: Until recently, my music lacked in quite everything. Without keyboard, there is no play, and without play, there is no fun!

duno if it counts but i made this at like 4am earlier today  Nice dubs Akema, pretty moody, nice sub! The main ambient sound on Hibernate is a little bit too strong imo, like that shredding second one very much, coming from malstrom, right? Day Dreamer sounds awful, means your progress is fine...

I apparently find myself going for real songs in the future. Nobody really gives a crap about progressive music because it's exhausting listening to it. In my opinion there are two ways to go: Active or Passive

Active Music for listening
Passive Music for chatting

Hey look at that, it's my thread! Yesterday I hooked up Ableton and Reason, made some first steps and decided to stick with Ableton because there is no alternative when it comes to live performance (that's why they call it Ableton Live, I guess). Now I totally love Thor and Scream and It would make ...

My advice: Stop focussing on production, try to set the focus on your mood. When in the right mood, you can reach past your limited daily horizon and capture ideas worth working on. Unfortunately, that's very rare. If you find out how to invoke that consciousness of creativity, you will be unstoppab...
