goood idea. have a look at the thinkpad range theres some good ones there and they all come with free xp downgrade

You can't use more than 3 gig of RAM with the 32 Bit version of windows ...

If you're still looking for a laptop running XP then try Novatech. They're still offering Lappys with XP Home and Pro.

As has been said, for a cheap option you could upgrade your RAM (go to Crucial and run their scanner to find out how much of an upgrade yoiu can get and what type of RAM you can run ...
