I'm Hugo from Goldbaby. Thought I might be able to shed some light on the Round Robin editing I did for EXS24. Basically it is all done with Groups that are chained together.

I use an application called Keymap Pro to create my EXS24 patches. Round Robin editing is so much easier with Keymap ...

I would have to agree... µTonic is the shiz... The best software drum synth IMHO. I think the guy who created it use ...

Logic has "Audio to Score". But the source material has to be clean and monophonic. I have never really had much success with it though.

I have heard people say Melodyne is pretty good for doing this.

I use Recycle to cut up a break. Then I replace the Kick and snare. I reckon Recycle is still the shit for dissecting breaks ... I can also make a groove template out of that rex file in Guru...

Do you have a midi to usb converter? Is it powered by the USB bus? Have you added anything to that USB chain?

I love Audio Damage plug-ins and I love my Moog MG-1... so it was natural that they play together....

This is a synth fx sample pack with the Moog MG-1 filter self oscillating and the Audio Damage fx adding space and depth...
