Lads - I'm thinking of picking up a sub to match with my shitty Alesis M1 Active monitors to help when making basslines. I simply don't find spectral analyzers helpful enough and I want to actually hear the throbbing of my b-lines. I've heard that mixing with a sub is dangerous because you can ...

I was also wondering about something similar to this. when you re-sample your bass sounds do you already have them exactly as you want them? (i.e. are they in the right arrangement/quantised/eq-ed?) what level do you bounce them at?
also, what if you want to go back and change something? surely ...

whenever i refresh the podcasts, Rinse doesn't update... just shows me the same options that have been there for weeks and if i try to download one of those, it gives me a '!' and some gay error message.

this happened to anyone else? if so, why and what can i do about it?
