you definitely have the right idea. work on making your bass more thick and cutting, also work on making your snare more powerful. it seems like your accompanying sound effects are stronger than the bass and that shouldn't be that way. really good for a first go, however.

There's a lot of people who don't really participate actively on message boards who make incredible music, they dig their own tunes, and require no external validation.
