tried changing the buffer size too but it is locked to 264 samples....this is annoying haha.

Thats one thing I have been confused about. The output buffer size. I will toy around with that as well!

MASSIVE is a CPU whore.. I tried to run MASSIVE on my G4 with a gig a of ram and it was not having.. I would only recommend Massive if you have the dual core or better.. Other wise you freeze the track after you make the midi and bounce everything to audio.. Right, but like I said the spikes now ha...

I recently purchased Massive and installed in on Ableton Live 7. Everything in Live was running fine for a couple of days and then even without Massive being used I am getting CPU spikes.
