LiveCut and DeepBlueGlitch are both fucking insane and amazing. Yet they are a tad too random. Ableton has a neat sample offset. http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3579/3326651544_5c818fbb95_b.jpg Here's what it did in this particular image, it's first couple seconds of Radiohead's No Surprises. http://...

Why won't you use trial version of Ableton? It does not allow saving files, but allows recording. It functions just like full, just need to finalize ideas in shorter terms.

I honestly can't see benefit to anyone from using cracked shit.

http://www.myspace.com/pianooverlord - project by Prefuse 73.

http://www.myspace.com/doshanticon - this guy actually hauls his Rhodes to the shows. That, and he is insane.

I use it, a bit. It's amazing. Almost like having an actual synth, but smaller.

Still trying to work out the automation on x-y pads, seems to become unpredictable when carried over 64+ bars.

Just a guess, but have you changed power settings? Like, display off after 5 minutes, harddrive off after 10, etc?

I noticed both Reason and Ableton have elevated CPU usage when I have power saving crap on.

Max for Live is probably the one thing that figuratively speaking gives me a hard on. It goes without saying that it might spawn tons of problems for users with ADD, but for people with adequate goals it's a golden mine. Also notable are the whole online collaboration and VOCODER (I hope autotune is...

So you went with 4 then?

Nah. Checked out demo and decided to stick with 3 for now. I'm definitely not ready for that sequencer layout.

Honestly, no. Save up a bit more and get MPD16 (roughly twice the price of nanopad). The difference is like Toyota to Ford.

It is velocity sensitive, but has a really cheap feel to it, almost as if it's going to break right in your hands.

biggest issue here has to be the bit depth though for me though.....if you take your reason 3 sessions, load them normally and bounce them out of reason 4....you will be doing yourself a favor as far as i know coding wise between the 2 versions of the program This probably is obvious when you get d...

Akai's MPD controllers are really good. I have MPD16 and after 2 years of abuse (relative, passive aggressive-like) it still works.

Only problem with MPD16 (fixed with MPD24/32) is that it's good via MIDI only, no USB in Vista.

Would dropping A#3 to A#1 help? It would put A# note closer to D#2 and that should give it more sub characteristics. I might be wrong on this but worth a try.

I am. Is that considered crazy?

I prefer clean software. I started off with cracked versions and got really inconvenienced with losing tracks time after time.
