so you want to turn battery's midi channel into an audio out channel so you can record it in with your midi controller? err? if you want to record it in, you record it in as midi, inputting the notes with the midi controller you're using if you want it to be an audio file, just convert it to one af...

It is not all about the drop at all. When I hear people talking like this it just makes me think of jumpup or people who wants to make hits and be a superstar. You will grow out of it. i dissagree, its what i want to here in a tune when listening by myself or with a friend. its a matter of opinion ...

you'd be better off asking him what he meant, rather than writing him off for not producing and then asking a bunch of producers what they thought he meant :/ none of us write the music we do just for other producers, "normal" people get a kick out of it too, and can still talk about it. ...

i think it depends on what you are wanting from a tune i make tunes i like to listen to. the thoughts on how it can be mixed doesnt come into it for me as songs are created so they can be played in full. in my car i like tunes that have a build up and then a massive drop. i like to pull back my head...

it's pentium dualcore. i'm not sure but i didn't think that flstudio had multi-core support? i don't even know what that means i'm terrible with computers. i'm trying to to read up on MIDI now. it's kind of confusing (a lot confusing) but i guess i have to learn sometime. if its a pentium D then ye...

when you first use ableton and not touched it before, use the lessons
i made the mistake of trying to do stuff without doing the lessons. this was a mistake and put me off it for 2 years.
i decided to take another look properly and do the lessons.
it all became clearer and now im loving it

Just to go against the grain here: I can't stand ableton. It just seems completely directed for people who want to play live, and if you're not into that your workflow is messed up. I use Reason right now, and I think it's amazing. Everything that you need is already there, but you can't record aud...

you charge a fee up front and then an agreed-upon split of royalites afterwards. why do u persist in just considering the either/or scenario? Because this is the kind of person he is. Its not me being "either /or", its him. Its cool though, if it does signed it'll be a major production cr...
