Havent bothered reading the whole way through the thread but i don't really there is anyone who comes near Reso. The way his drums work with the rest of the tune is second to none. His drumming experience shines through in his tracks.

Its different for everyone, go to a club and you will see different dj's doing totally different things. Without trying to sound generic but just do what works for you and develop your own style.

...But personally, I almost always mix from the edge. Firstly it helps me get the track beat matched ...

To be fair i have always tried and exclusively use vinyl... I preffer everything about it, i like the fact that everything is done by ear and more importantly i prefer the feel.
BUT it is a big but, im getting so fed up with firstly the price (i just dont have the money to buy all the vinyls i need ...
