Melodic/Breaks styles/ variation

Are completely killing it lately like i dont know much about The UK but in America everyone just goes nuts for this shit like the blinded by the lights nero remix and dr p's 3 remix are dropped multiple times. I feel like people like this sort of vibe even more than the dirt. People are way more int...

jump up bass tutorial

go into massive and choose the pulse/saw sync oscillater
put an envelope with a relatively short attack, zero decay and full sustain on the middle knob and sweep it from all the way left to a quarter of the way.

run it through a comb filer and do the same thing with all of its parameters.

Re: How to make decent sounding bass in massive

You apply it to everything.

Like say put it on all the wavetables, so it sweeps the wavetable sound, while sweeping the comb filters, the wetness of the distortion, and the filter cutoff

How to make decent sounding bass in massive

Ok guys. Three saw waves. one at + 12 - 12 and 0 respectively. on the first filter insert, throw in a comb. set all the knobs to left. go to the 3 envelope, and make sure the decay is at zero, the sustain at full and the attack at somewhere in the halfway mark. This allos you to get a sweeping effec...

Re: Here a great technique for designing midrange sounds

yeah like you automate them going opposite ways with different effects stacked on top of each one. Each one is on a seperate bus one for high freq and one for middle. just an idea

Here a great technique for designing midrange sounds

HERE IS THE COOL PART. Link both of the freq knobs of both filters to the same knob on your midi controller, this way...

Is obviously very important. Would someone that knows a thing or two about this( especially in regards to midrange sounds) care to share what they know? For instance, if i decide that i want to throw some formanting, a short reverb and some light distortion on a bassline, why is it important that th...
