Re: ***KRK RP8G2 reduced from $499 to $169 on Amazon***
Avoid rokits at all prices. They are absolutely garbage.
/facepalm
At $169 theres no reason to not get them if you need monitors. People just like to shit on the krk brand. There not the best out there, but thats reflected in there price. For a first pair of monitors they are perfectly ...

Re: Pulling the trigger on some studio monitors. Help!
Nope, you are not an asshole but you do have an asshole attitude.

But to be honest the only asshole around is myself, don't get me wrong ...

Re: Pulling the trigger on some studio monitors. Help!
no offence taken bro, i just laugh at how easy it is for people to hate things that are popular and come up with reasons as to why these things are shit. haha!
eg, you were saying they rokits were shit based on what youve heard with zero experience with actually using the speakers.. same as ...

Re: KRK rokit 6 buzzing issues
Use high quality balanced cables. Something like a TRS to XLR cable from mogami will stop the buzzing.. I had the same problem until I changed my crappy cables.

What does being a fan of skrillex have to do with being a noob? This was a good question, as I was also curious about such saw sounds. Honestly stfu. We wan't to learn the basis of a new sound, that's only going to help us with sound design ...

Re: Affordable Field Recorders
The h1 is an excellent field recording unit for the price!
But.. you might want to consider the H2n instead. The H1 captures waaaay too much "handling" noise to actually use it. (unless you use a tripod or something)
